Matilde

A sublime representation of the elegance and opulence that characterize this brand. We highlight a stylized profile of Empress Matilda, paying homage to the inspiration behind the new symbol. Matilde's image is surrounded by delicate details that evoke royalty and sophistication. Additionally, it is presented in a refined serif typography, providing a sense of legacy and prestige. This logo embodies the essence of Matilde: luxury, quality, and a tribute to the empress who personified excellence.

The palette

Forest green.

A deep, regal forest grounds the identity in legacy and quiet luxury. A warm champagne plays the supporting role — a metallic whisper that lifts the mark and signals craft across packaging, signage, and screen.

Visual approach

Matilde is not only a visual identity but an experience—one that honors heritage while embracing modern sensibilities. Every detail, from symbol to interface, is crafted to communicate luxury, quality, premium products and timeless excellence. The brand stands as a contemporary tribute to Empress Matilda: powerful, elegant, and enduring.

Photography and imagery are treated with a refined, editorial sensibility. Lighting is carefully controlled, compositions are clean and intentional, and the focus is placed on subtle details rather than visual excess. Generous use of negative space allows each element to stand on its own, reinforcing a sense of confidence, calm, and understated refinement.

The result

Matilde reads as a small, confident maison — recognisable on the street and equally at home in a gift box. The system is elastic enough to grow with the brand: new pastries, seasonal menus, and a future flagship can all sit inside the same forest-and-champagne language without diluting it.
